The use of four-effect heat recovery technology, energy saving, power saving, safety and environmental protection, to ensure peace of mind, worry and money for customers.

Bergamot drying process

Preparation before drying: the bergamot slices should be 2-3 mm thick, and the thickness of the tray should not exceed 2 cm, which is conducive to the rapid drying of the bergamot.

The first stage is mainly to increase temperature, intermittently dehumidify, set the temperature at 35℃-40℃, and run for about 2 hours.

In the second stage, in order to ensure that the water on the surface of the bergamot continues to evaporate, the dehydration of the bergamot slices is reduced, and the drying speed should not be too fast. The temperature should be 45-52°C and the time is about 10 hours. During the process, the circulating air evenly passes through each layer of trays. Ensure the dryness and appearance of each piece of bergamot.

In the third stage, the temperature is set at 55°C to 60°C, and the drying time is about 5 hours. In this stage, there is less moisture, which can dissipate moisture intermittently and retain heat.

It takes about 17 hours to dry a batch of bergamot, depending on the material stacking thickness, slice thickness, tray drying room size and dryer size, etc., the drying process parameters also differ. This process is for reference only.
